Our Albany Road Restaurant is Finding It's Feet Nicely
After a couple of weeks since opening the doors of our first Italian restaurant in Cardiff, we are very pleased (and quite relieved) to report that despite a few minor problems we are up to full speed in the kitchen and front-of-house.
For those of you who have yet to visit and are maybe a little unsure as to what to expect, please let us briefly explain the Mamma Lina's approach to Italian food.
Our menu is focused on creating traditional, authentic Italian dishes. We use recipes that have been passed down to cousins Gianluca and Massimo by their grandmother. We fully appreciate this might sound a bit of a marketing gimmick but this really is a case for the majority of the dishes you can choose from off our menu
To prepare the dishes we use a combination of fresh local produce sourced from the same suppliers we use in our Rogerstone restaurant and some we import from Italy. We do this deliberately to ensure the taste of each dish is as close to its equivalent should you be dining in a ristorante in Italy. They are relatively simple dishes but we aim to prepare them to perfection.
To compliment our menu we also guarantee a very warm welcome to all of our guests. Marcello and his team have many years of restaurant experience and how to provide not just good but great customer service.
For those of you who have already visited the Roath restaurant, you will also know that on Friday and Saturday nights we book a singer to entertain you during your visit to the restaurant to add to the ambiance of the venue.
We still have tables available for this weekend so if you haven't done so already, please come and visit us to try our authentic dishes for yourself.
If you have visited, please take a couple of mins to leave a review so others can read about your MammaLina's experience.
